Fortnite adds Bruno Mars / Anderson Paak Silk Sonic musical duo to Icon . skin line

Silk Sonic is bringing its R&B brand to Fortnite. Bruno Mars and Anderson’s musical duo .Paak will have in-game skins as part of Chain of icons, as well as some other cosmetics and a new radio to listen to when you drive around the island. All Silk Sonic items are coming Fortnitein-game store on February 10.

Both musicians will have their own unique look and feel, along with some aesthetic additions to go with them. Mars will gain the Sound Scepter Pickaxe, which doubles when he’s not using it, and the Freedom Wheels Emote. Meanwhile, .Paak will receive Boom Bap Pickaxe and Sonic Snare Back Bling. Both skins will also come with alternative styles for their in-game skins.

These cosmetics can be purchased separately for Bruno Mars or Anderson .Paak skins, or both will be available as a bundle in the Silk Sonic Set.

Finally, the duo will get their own in-game radio station that players can listen to as they drive with Icon Radio. While the station will be for Silk Sonic at launch, it looks like Epic Games will add more artists from the Icon series in the future.
