Fort Wayne Police investigate shooting at Glenbrook mall after shoppers 'hear gunshots'

One person was shot Saturday after a possible incident at a shopping center in Fort Wayne, Indiana, police confirmed.

After initial calls just before 3:30 p.m., rescue workers were in the Glenbrook Mall shopping center.

It is currently unclear if officers found a person with a gun.

The mall was evacuated on the spot by police and the area clearance is continuing.

A public alert was raised, urging people at the mall to call 911 for information from police

The US Sun has repeatedly asked the Fort Wayne Police Department for comment.
