Former WWE Champion among Vince McMahon’s top stars sacked while Emma is forced to retract ‘dream come true’ tweet

SINCE merging with the UFC, WWE has made a series of brutal cuts.
The merger was completed on September 12, and just over a week later, several high-profile stars were out of work.
One of these fallen stars is Tenille Dashwood, also known as Emma.
About an hour after tweeting a promotional photo for WWE’s Elimination Chamber, scheduled to take place in Perth, with the caption “A dream @wwe,” the Australian retweeted the following with the words: “Oops, whatever. I was just released…I’m no longer in the WWE.
The 34-year-old was released by the organization in 2016 after six years before returning in 2022.
According to Fightful.com, former world heavyweight champion Dolph Ziggler has also reportedly been released Sean Ross Sapp.

The 43-year-old first joined Vince McMahon’s organization in 2004 and worked his way up from Ohio Valley Wrestling to become United States Champion and Intercontinental Champion, among other titles.
Another United States and Intercontinental Champion, Shelton Benjamin, also took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to confirm his departure.
“I have been released from my WWE contract,” he wrote.
“I thank the @wwe staff, the talent and of course the fans for everything. Something ends, something new begins. I’m looking forward to my next chapter.”

Canadian Aliyah also kept her release statement for X short and sweet.
“As of today, I am no longer a part of WWE,” the 28-year-old wrote.
During her eight years in WWE, Aliyah won both the Women’s Tag Team Championship and the Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament once.
Riddick Moss also confirmed his “graduation” from WWE on X.
After nine years with the WWE, he took the opportunity to dispel rumors about his salary and prepare future employers: “Well, I did it – I graduated from WWE.”
“I know a lot of people think my career really took a downturn after Mr. Levesque took over, but in reality my per-game fee skyrocketed.”
“Other promoters, get ready to support the Brinks truck.”

Four-time WWE 24/7 Champion Elias and two-time champion Rick Boogs were also reportedly cut Sapp.
Former NFL star and wrestler AJ Francis, also known as Top Dolla, was also reportedly dropped.
