ROBERT SNODGRASS was an unused substitute for Luton against Derby after joining the Championship team on a short-term contract.
The 34-year-old is free to leave after his contract with West Brom was terminated by mutual consent at the end of January.
Snodgrass appears only six times for Baggs This season, with his final league debut being a 1–1 draw against Middlesbrough on 6 November.
After that, he was dropped from the lineup every day after the match Boro clashed after defeat with boss Valerien Ismael.
But the old-West Ham ace made a quick return to football after being wrapped up in a deal by the Hatters until the end of the campaign.
ONE Declaration of Luton read: “We are delighted to announce the signing of experienced midfielder Robert Snodgrass on contract until the end of the season.”
Luton manager Nathan Jones has stated that Snodgrass’s experience could help the club gain promotion to the Premier League.
He commented: “We brought Snoddy in because of the experience he gave us, the great quality he has and it just became the right time to do it.

“We’ve been looking for a left-footed midfield player for a while and we’ve noticed a couple of injuries in the midfield, and so he’s actively picked.
“He’s got play-off experience, he’s got Premier League experience and he’s known by some of our players and staff, so we know he’s the type of character we want to be. want to be here.”
Snodgrass has stated that playing for Jones was the main reason he turned down interest from elsewhere to sign with the Bedfordshire outfit.
He speak: “It’s good that everything is finalized. I have a couple of options where I want to take my time and make sure I make a decision based on who wants me and the club to fit the characteristics and my qualities.
“The deciding factor is the manager – it’s all down to Nathan Jones.
“He went above and beyond to try to get me in the door, which is always nice and especially at this stage of my career.
“There’s a lot of documentation that I haven’t played in the last two months, so for him to show how much he wants me and be a part of what he’s building here, that’s important factor for me.”
Snodgrass was immediately included in Jones’ game-day squad for the home game against Wayne Rooney’s Rams at Kenilworth Road.
But he failed to come on from the bench as Luton won 1-0 to take the lead over Sheffield United in sixth place across the board.
