Nolito, 35, has now signed a two-year deal with Ibiza and will officially become their player once he undergoes a medical.

The club tweeted: “Nolito is a new #Ibiza player. Welcome to the island!”

He will join Arsenal loanee Miguel Azeez, who is in Spain for the season.

Nolito has a wealth of experience and 16 caps in Spain with six goals.

He spent a year with Barcelona’s first team after joining Barcelona from the B-side in 2010.

After stints at Benfica, Grenada and Celta, Nolito signed with City in 2016.

He was bought by Pep Guardiola to compete with players like Sergio Aguero.

But the versatile striker, who plays center or on the wing, was unsettled in England.
