“Former employee shoots two workers at Frankische’s Anderson County plant before taking his own life,” as employees flee

THREE people were shot dead at an industrial facility in South Carolina on Tuesday, and one person died.
The incident happened just after 10:30 p.m. at the FRÄNKISCHE plant, the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office said.
MPs responded to the scene moments later and worked to secure the area.
The gunman died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound before authorities could take him into custody, according to MPs.
The shooter was a former employee at the plant, police said.
Two people were taken to a local hospital, but the extent of their injuries is unknown.
Workers at the plant ran to the Typsy Tavern Bar & Grill across the street to seek shelter from the incident, police said.
The Coroner’s Office, Anderson Police Department, Sheriff’s Office and Highway Patrol are all on site.
