Former Collier County teacher who sexually abused children sentenced to 25 years

COLLIER COUNTY
A former Collier County elementary school teacher accused of sexually abusing dozens of children has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.
Hector Manley was also found to be a sexual predator. He has had no contact with the victims and will be placed on sex offender probation upon release from prison, according to a Collier County court spokesman.
He did not object and was found guilty of 20 counts of sexually harassing a victim under 12 years of age.
In March 2019, Manley turned himself in for sexual abuse and abuse after former students and their families denounced him for inappropriate behavior.
Manley teaches second grade at Parkside Elementary School in Collier County.
