Former Arsenal star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang surprisingly calls England defender Tyrone Mings his toughest opponent ever

PIERRE-EMERICK AUBAMEYANG has faced some superstar defenders – but says Tyrone Mings is the hardest.
Former Arsenal striker Aubameyang, 32, and current Aston Villa centre-back Mings, 28, have featured in five Prem clashes since 2019.
Perhaps surprising is that Villa and captain Mings have won three of those games and kept a clean sheet in each.
The Gunners won the other two and Auba scored in both of those clashes, including the one in late September 2019 after Villa were promoted back to the top flight.
So despite world-class defenders the likes of AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund and now Barcelona striker Aubameyang will have to deal – it’s perhaps easy to see why he’s dismissed England star Mings.
When asked in a Mundo Deportivo’s video interview To name his toughest opponent ever, Auba paused to think and then named the player who began his senior career at Yate Town out of the league.
Gabonese star Auba spoke to the Spanish newspaper after scored a hat-trick in a 4-1 win and first La Liga game for Barca against Valencia on Sunday.
This is the former Arsenal captain’s fourth game for his new club after sealing his January switch from the Gunners.

He is now the first player to score a hat-trick in the French Premier League, Bundesliga, La Liga and Ligue 1.
Aubameyang scored seven goals in 15 games for Arsenal this season before being left out in the cold in December.
He was the subject of a disciplinary infraction after returning late from an overseas trip and that led to him lost their captaincy and leave.
