MAN CITY sensation Erling Haaland is making almost £1million a week at the Etihad – and that’s without his hat-trick money.
According to the Mail, the star striker appears to be being paid accordingly by the reigning Premier League champions, who are showering him with £865,000 a week.
However, a number of sizeable bonuses make him probably the highest paid player in the Premier League on his weekly salary.
Elsewhere, Dutch legend Marco van Basten has urged Hakim Ziyech to leave Chelsea in January.
Former Ajax winger Ziyech has struggled for game time since arriving for £40million in 2020.
Van Basten said: “It’s sad and a shame that someone of his caliber plays so rarely. Ziyech is a great player.”
And legend Lionel Messi could make a stunning return to Barcelona next July – at 36.
