Officers in a south Florida metropolis will meet this week to debate a lawsuit filed by the town’s first Black feminine firefighter, after her picture was changed with a white face in a mural meant to honor native historical past.

Latosha Clemons, a former deputy hearth chief of Boynton Seaside, filed the lawsuit in April, accusing the town of defamation and negligence.
