PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Amid heavy rain, melting snow, ice jams and fluctuating temperatures, there are some major flooding to hit the region this Friday.
The hardest hit places appear to be in parts of Beaver and Butler counties.
KDKA meteorologist Mary Ours says there is still a Flood Advisory for the Ohio River.
Flooding is occurring at Connoquenessing Creek in Beaver County and at the Allegheny River near Kittanning in Armstrong and Clarion County. Pike and Rimer are a few places where the water could rise on Saturday night.

Aerial images from NewsChopper 2 late Friday morning show floodwaters surrounding homes and bridges in Fombell, Beaver County, and Zelienople, Butler County.
Rising water has forced many roads, as well as the Mon Pier in downtown Pittsburgh, to close.
