Prosecutor David Russo said five people were involved in the shooting and have since been arrested.
Russo said four of the suspects are from Fayette County and the fifth is from Greene County.
The shooting took place at Circle K in Carmichaels just after 4pm on Thursday.
Russo said the fight began earlier in the day with four people in one vehicle and another person in another vehicle and ended with guns being fired at each other.
Witnesses said they heard about a dozen gunshots.
“I heard people calling each other and saying there was a robbery at a milk market and then it came back and said someone was shot in the head with a gun and someone was hit in the leg,” said Brian Curincak .
“Pennsylvania State Police are investigating this and I have every confidence that they will bring about a resolution to this matter,” Greene County District Attorney David Russo said.
Much of the investigation focused on the K County parking lot and a white car that had been hit by gunfire.
Charges are expected to be filed.
