The film will tell the true story of Anna Delvey and her years-long fraudulent plot to defraud banks, hotels, and her wealthy acquaintances.

Many hope this series will shed some light on the questions that still remain about the strange case.

The Sun reveals five shocking details about the case from her “friends” not seeing the red mark to the massive heiress’ lack of remorse.

According to prosecutors, the Russian-born Anna tricked people into believing she was a German heiress with a $67 million trust fund.

Anna, who grew up in Germany when her parents moved there at age 16, used a false identity to scam Manhattan’s elite.

She has forged into exclusive parties, nightclubs and hotels for many years.

In fact, Anna comes from a humble background – her father is a truck driver and her mother is a homemaker.

She attended Central Saint Martin College of Art and Design before dropping out and moving to Paris in 2013.

While interning at Purple magazine, Sorokin began using the surname Delvey.

Previously, Anna assumed it was her mother’s maiden name.

However, her parents said in the filing that they had no idea why she chose the name.

In the summer of 2013, Anna traveled to New York and immediately mingled with the elite.

She can convince people that she is a social media rich person and will show off her money on social media.

Anna planned to start a members-only art club in Manhattan, her former defense attorney, Todd Spodek, said.

“Art, fashion, entertainment, music, restaurants, everything in one place,” says Spodek. “Its name is Anna Delvey Foundation, ADF.”

However, Anna said she never claimed to be an heir or that she came from money. Spodek argued that the 31-year-old exploited a system and told a few blatant lies.

Inventing Anna is being supported by Shondaland, the production company founded by Shonda Rhimes.

However, New York state law does not allow criminals to profit from their crimes, so before Anna can benefit, she must first use the money to pay back her victims.

Meanwhile, Lena Dunham is doing a show about Anna’s story for HBO.

The people with whom Anna was surrounded did not receive the so-called “red flags” of the woman’s behavior.

According to the report, she asked friends to pay for taxis and plane tickets, saying she had difficulty moving assets from Europe.

But they do, laughing unless they hunt her down to give them their money back.

“Everybody asked [me]Is there a red flag? “, Rachel Williams, a friend of Anna’s, told ABC.

“I never questioned that she was who she said she was. I never had a reason to do it and I wouldn’t think so.”

Williams took a trip to Morocco with Anna after the so-called heir offered to pay for all expenses.

Then Anna’s credit card stopped working. So Williams gives her card.

“I am ashamed to say that I am one of the props and the audience as well,” Williams.

“Anna is a nice dream about New York, like one of those nights that never seems to end. And then the bill comes in.”

Williams stuck with a bill of $62,000 – more than she made in a year.

Anna was convicted in 2019 of eight counts. Among them, crooks have tried to commit major theft and theft of services.

While she was sentenced to 4-12 years in prison, she only served less than four years in total.

In February 2021, she was released with good conduct.

Within days of her release from prison, Anna hired a film crew to follow her and document her life.

In an interview with Insider, Anna said, “I’m just filming everything I’m doing right now and I’ll see what to do with it later.”

Less than two months later, Anna was detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, in part due to her interviews and antics after entering prison.
