Five potential next fights for Daniel Dubois after destroying Trevor Bryan with Dillian Whyte as the top target

DANIEL DUBOIS has made his way into the Heavyweight cover photo after KOing Trevor Bryan.

The fourth-round win in Miami earned Dubois the WBA Regular belt and a mandatory challenger position for the real thing.

But there are some other massive fights that await the 24-year-old Dubois if he can’t get his hands on any of the other champions.

He revealed Dillian Whyte was his main target, but the competitor is just one of many options on the table.

Here, SunSport examines what could be next for Dubois.

Dillian Whyte

Whyte, 34, was KO’d by Tyson Fury in April but has spoken out online about getting back in the mix of things.

He’s a free agent and isn’t tied to any promoter or TV network, as Dubois asked Frank Warren to make an offer.

He said: “Dillian Whyte, Joseph Parker, all the names out there, they’re all on my hit list. Whoever Frank sets me up with next.”

Joe Joyce

Dubois’ only career loss came in 2020 to Joyce, which caused the Londoner to get on his knees after hitting his eye.

Joyce, 36, is now sitting pretty as a WBO mandatory for the winner between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk’s rematch.

But he continues to wait on the sidelines, meaning that if the money is right, Joyce could be lured into a rematch with Dubois.

Derek Chisora

Chisora remains a popular fan favorite and returns in a rematch with Kubrat Pulev on July 9th.

And promoter Eddie Hearn named Dubois a future opponent if Chisora, 37, can beat Pulev, 41.

Hearn told SunSport, “All of a sudden you start talking about him (Chisora) in fights with Joe Joyce, Daniel Dubois, look what happens with AJ and Usyk.”

Anthony Joshua or Oleksandr Usyk

Dubois is now mandatory for the WBA title. Usyk, 35, beat Joshua, 32, in September and will defend him in their rematch on August 20.

That means he could avoid the risk of losing his position and wait to fight the winner.

But with an undisputed fight with Tyson Fury, 33, looming later in the year and other mandates, Dubois is unlikely to sit around.

Luke Brown

The Australian’s career appeared to be coming to an end after losing to rugby league footballer Paul Gallen, 40, in April 2021.

But Browne, 43, has bounced back with two wins including a recent upset KO over 32-year-old Junior Fa.

The former WBA champion is a household name in Britain and revealed he has already received calls to return to a British fight.
