The bodies of five people and a dog were discovered in a Minnesota home after a police standoff, officials said.
Officers were called to the home in East Hilllside, Duluth, at 11 a.m. Wednesday for a welfare check.
When officers arrived an hour later, they found a man with a mental health crisis and a standoff ensued when police learned he had access to weapons.
When the police were able to search the house, they found five people and a dead dog.
One of the people found dead was the suspect, police say.
All of the deceased were relatives, reports Fox21.
