Five fights for Joe Joyce next, including the world title against Usyk and a delicious Wilder fight after Parker KO

JOE JOYCE scored the biggest win of his career on Saturday night with a stunning stop from former world champion Joseph Parker.

The Putney-pounder entered the title shot with an 11th-round KO win over the New Zealander in Manchester.

A vicious left hook just over a minute into the round flattened the sturdy Parker and saw Joyce get his hands on the interim WBO heavyweight title.

Joyce, 37, is now armed and ready to mix it up with the big names in heavyweight.

And SunSport is on hand to outline the potential opponents for his next foray into the ring.

Joe Joyce’s potential next opponent

Oleksandr Usyk

A clash with unified heavyweight champion Usyk could loom for Joyce following his destruction of Parker.

The Olympian was the mandatory challenger for the Ukrainian’s WBO title before unleashing Parker, a win that has led many to challenge him after another step up in the competition.

Joyce called out the slick southpaw in his post-fight interview.

A fight with Usyk is unlikely to materialize anytime soon, however, as the former undisputed cruiserweight king is on course for an undisputed showdown with Tyson Fury.

Dillian Whyte

A Battle of Britain featuring recent WBC title challenger Whyte could prove a decent and realistic midterm for Joyce should his leap to gold be delayed.

Despite his lopsided defeat by Fury last April, Whyte would provide Joyce with a much tougher and more robust test than the often one-dimensional Parker.

A similarly impressive win over Joyce would not only see his shares soar among casual fans, but would also cement his status as the third best British heavyweight.

Deontay Wilder

Like Whyte, former WBC heavyweight champion Wilder is looking to get back in contention for the title after a brutal KO loss to Fury.

And a win over Joyce would propel him back to the top of the pack – a place the Brit could find if he defeated The Bronze Bomber.

However, Wilder has the small task of getting through former sparring partner Robert Helenius next month before a fight with Joyce becomes possible.

Andy Ruiz Jr

Former Unified Heavyweight Champion Ruiz Jr. is still very much involved after his decision win over veteran Luis Ortiz earlier this month.

The Mexican could therefore prove a viable opponent for Joyce should The Juggernaut be forced to wait for his shot at the Usyk vs Fury winner.

Anthony Joshua

AJ is currently in negotiations to face Fury in an unlikely grudge match on December 3.

But should the fight not come together, a fight between the former united champion and Joyce would make perfect sense.

Joshua, 32, is in dire need of a win over a household name after his back-to-back defeats against pound-for-pound king Usyk.

And even though Joyce just floored Parker, he still needs a win over a big name to make his claim to a title shot indisputable.

The fight would also have a little extra spice as the two are former sparring partners and have recently been involved in a public spat on social media.
