Fireplace in Southeast DC injures one, situation stays unknown

A lady was injured in a hearth that began in an residence constructing in southeast D.C. on Sunday.

DC hearth officers say the blaze began on Inexperienced Road in Anacostia at round 4 p.m.
The fireplace was confined to a terrace stage residence within the constructing as officers confirmed that “a victim,” an unidentified woman, was discovered contained in the residence through the hearth.
The lady was confirmed to have been injured within the hearth, however officers have been unable to substantiate her situation when WTOP reached out
D.C. Fireplace remains to be investigating the reason for the hearth.
