FINLAND’S under-fire prime minister has been caught in freshly leaked footage dragging a man – a day after she was forced to deny she was on drugs.
Sanna Marin, 36, who has been dubbed the “coolest politician alive” for her laid-back leadership style, was recently caught twerking at a wild party with a group of friends.
In the more recent video, reportedly filmed earlier this month, the Prime Minister of Finland, one of the world’s youngest leaders, can be seen dancing “intimately” with an unidentified man at a nightclub.
The man has his arms around the Prime Minister and is touching her lower back with his lips near her neck.
It’s not clear if he’s kissing Marin – who married husband Markus Raikkonen in 2020 – or whispering something to her.
On Friday, Finnish newspaper Seiska claimed that a “visibly drunk” Marin and several friends pulled up at 2.30am on the night of August 6 at Helsinki’s Teatteri nightclub.
There they partied with a group, including Finnish pop star Alma, until 4:30 in the morning.
Witnesses told the newspaper that Marin, who is married with a four-year-old daughter, appeared to have flirted with several different men at the club.
“Sanna danced closely with at least three different men,” one claimed.
“She was also sitting on the laps of two different men. She put her hand next to one man and he gently held her arm.”
Footage from the night reportedly shows several bystanders commenting on their behavior.
“The prime minister can’t be in this state,” one clubgoer reportedly said.
Another replied: “Oh my god she’s in a shocking state,” while a third asked if another country’s prime minister would behave like that.
The Sun Online has reached out to Sanna Marin’s office for comment.

This video comes after footage believed to have been shot earlier that same night, showing Marin with a host of Finnish celebs dancing, singing and drinking with friends in an apartment.
At one point, someone off-camera refers to “powder bandages” in what is believed to be a reference to cocaine, though Marin has strenuously denied using any drugs at the party.
Other social media users said the partygoer was more akin to a popular Finnish alcoholic drink that sounds similar to “powder bandages” in Finnish.
She has defended her behavior and insists she has nothing to hide, adding that she “dismisses” the fact the footage was leaked of her in a “private room”.
“I am disappointed that it has become public,” she told the press. “I spent the evening with friends. Partyed, pretty wild, yes. Dancing and singing.”
She added: “I have not used drugs or anything other than alcohol myself.
“I danced, sang and partied and did completely legal things. I’ve also never been in a situation where I knew other people would do it.”
Marin reportedly said the videos were shot a few weeks ago and that the evening was spent in two separate apartments with around twenty people – and the group also went to two bars.
The politician also said she was ready to take a drug test in response to her critics’ allegations.
Finnish newspaper Iltalehti has reported that Marin had previously canceled her August vacation, meaning she was supposed to be on call 24/7 and make important decisions on the night the videos were filmed.
This isn’t the first time Marin’s allegedly wild behavior has gotten her into trouble.
She had to apologize last year for going to the club at 4am despite being in contact with a minister who had tested positive for Covid.
Marin attended dinner and drinks just hours after contacting her infected foreign secretary and claimed she had been told she did not need to isolate because she was fully vaccinated.
But she later said she missed a text message advising her to isolate because she didn’t have her government phone with her at the time – a decision her critics called “careless”.
In October 2020, a year after her election as Prime Minister, she appeared in an interview for lifestyle magazine Trendi in a blazer with nothing underneath.
However, her supporters claim she is being vilified for her anti-Russian stance in an attempt by Putin to undermine his western neighbor.
Finland – which shares a 1,340km land border with Russia – is about to join NATO, a move that has infuriated Moscow.
The German newspaper Bild wrote in an article in which she described Marin as the “coolest politician in the world”: “She is the most important politician in her country, has to lead it through one of the most dangerous crises of its time because of the belligerence of its neighbor Russia – and still find time to celebrate.
“Casual, modern and self-confident – that’s how politics can work. Marin represents the ‘cool generation’ that Putin definitely doesn’t like.”
