This year is the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy 7was released in Japan and Square Enix is celebrating everything about the game including its new and upcoming entries. During the anniversary live stream on Monday, Yoshinori Kitase, the director of the original Final Fantasy 7, saying that the company even plans to reveal Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2 around the end of this year.
Instead, Kitase said, “we just started our 25th anniversary Final Fantasy 7, so we wanted to celebrate and get our fans excited, so over the next 12 months we wanted to share some information. Looking forward to more information,” in translation from PushDustIn provided for VGC.
By the stream, Kitase and Final Fantasy 7 remake creative director Tetsuya Nomura release statement Thanks to the community for their continued support Final Fantasy 7 universe and their excitement about the series’ upcoming titles.
Unfortunately, no one from the live stream has provided any information on when this reveal might come and we still don’t know when. Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2 will actually be released.
Final Fantasy 7 Redo was released in April 2020, almost five years after published for the first time, on the PlayStation 4. The PlayStation 5 version of the game, and it’s expanded Interleaved release, coming next year. Square Enix then brought Redo to Windows PC, through the Epic Games Store.
