Final Fantasy 14: Endwalker – Warship Hunting Guide

Quick link
One of the best way to earn enough EXP quickly, Final Fantasy 14 by participating in the Hunts found in Shadowbringers and Endwalker extension. Even so, if you haven’t dipped your foot into the Hunt yet, you’ll have some work to do, especially if you haven’t done anything with your Grand Company yet.
While there are different ways for you to earn large amounts of EXP and power up New Jobs or chips at the following levels, Hunting is still one of the best options to do it in Endwalker. Whether you’re a veteran of the Hunt or want to learn them for the first time, your efforts will pay off considerably.
Prerequisites
Before gaining access to the Guildship Hunt in Endwalker, you’ll have to take care of a few things first. First and foremost, if you haven’t done any hunting yet, you must first achieve the rank of Second Lieutenant in your Company before starting them. However, your Grand Company’s status has no effect on Hunts from that point forward.
Like the previous three expansions, you will also need to complete various Guildship Hunt quests to unlock more formidable Marks, This will come naturally as you progress through the game. And, assuming there are more expansions after Endwalker, you’ll likely have to complete every Guildship Hunt quest before tackling anything in the Hunt sequel, but that’s another time.
Guildship Hunt’s Request
Escort Hunting Mission
Once you have met the above requirements, you can finally join the Guildship Hunts. As mentioned earlier, you’ll have to complete quests before Hunting for the more formidable Marks. There are four missions in total.

Guildship Mark Bills
Before you get Elite Marks, you’ll first have to work through three Guildship Mark Bills labeled Junior, Associate and Senior, controlled by the tasks provided above. To get these Mark Invoices you will have to go to the relationship hunting board found in Old Sharlayan (X: 11.8, Y: 13,2). Remove Marks will reward you with Sacks of Nuts, EXP and Gil, with harder ones offering bigger payouts.
However, once you work your way up to the Elite Guildship Mark Bills you will be introduced to new Marks levels ranging from B to SS. Elite Marks are much stronger targets than regular ones and will give a much bigger bonus if you can take them down.
Award marking the establishment of an elite group
Prize | B Tier | One Tier | B Tier | Level SS |
---|---|---|---|---|
Sack of Nuts | N / A | 40 | 100 | 400 |
Allagan Tomestone of Poetics | N / A | 30 | 100 | 200 |
Allagan Tomestone of Aphorism | N / A | 20 | 80 | 100 |
Allagan Tomestone on Astronomy | N / A | ten | 30 | 50 |
You can exchange Sack of Nuts for exclusive items and equipment by visiting J’lakshai in Old Sharlayan (X: 11.9, Y: 13,2) or Wilmetta in Radz-at-Han (X: 10.5, Y: 7.4). In addition, while Grade B may have no direct payout, they will still count towards your weekly Elite Score Challenge and extremely helpful to get it done in time. However, in addition to the Weekly Challenge, we recommend focusing on Tier A-SS as they have guaranteed rewards.
Besides, Common Guildship Mark (Junior, Associate and Senior) will reset daily at 08:00 AM (PST) or 11:00 AM (EST). However, B level elite solidarity sign will weekly reset Every Tuesday at 01:00 AM (PST) or 04:00 AM (EST), with Level A-SS Points on an “instant kill” basis with no weekly or daily resets.
Mark Guildship Elite Information
Like the Marks of Excellence found in Shadowbringers, the Marks in Endwalker follow the same set of rules. Each Elite Mark will have its own respawn timer, with S/SS-Tier Marks requiring a specific event to trigger before appearing in the world. However, if one S or SS Mark is defeated, it will take quite a while before another one respawns.
All of the Elite Marks in Endwalker can be found below, along with their respective spawn times, locations, and levels. You can also learn how to activate the formidable S/SS-Tiers, which can be quite challenging in some cases.
