Fear the Walking Dead Recap Season 7 Episode 8: [Spoiler] Get bitten / die

For a key Fear the Walking Dead characters, the writing seems to be written on the wall – scribbled in blood, naturally. In the mid-season finale of the TV series AMC, we learn that the character in question – is revealed below; You have been warned – have been bitten by a pedestrian and now believe the end is near. There was only one thing left to do before joining the ranks of the undead, but it was a big deal. Read on and we’ll discuss not only that but also how-you-know-who got infected.
‘WE NEED FRESH COMBINATION FOR GARDEN’ | Since Sunday’s “Padre” has a line through it that divides the past and the present, I’m going to divide this summary into two parts in the hope of giving you a more linear, easier-to-follow reading. (We’ll see if that works.) First, we go back to Season 6, where Teddy locks Alicia in a bunker to protect her from his nuclear detonation. Before long, a planter came across her by chance and was about to take her into the “garden”—you remember, that walker was tied to a tree in the main hall—when Arno intervened. “She’s the one we’ve been waiting for!” Although not necessarily what they expected. Alicia stole her captor’s gun, gave him to a walker, and overcame difficulties to become the leader of the nutjobs. However, Arno didn’t panic as he ran away; There was no way out, he was sure.
Upon meeting Will below, Alicia had heard all about him coming to stay in the bunker with Senator Vasquez’s team and had been in hiding ever since the cultists barged in and killed everyone. There might be a way out, Will said. “What?” she asked. You’ve been here the whole time, and “haven’t you tried?” Erm, no. He escaped. When the cultists encounter Alicia, Will encourages her to come back and play with; He will find a way out for her. (Mmkay, complete stranger.) Back upstairs, Alicia is returned her trusty old weapon by Arno. In her room, she finds a pad of Padre’s documents left by “old tenants” – in other words, peeping photos of Vasquez. Soon after, Will was dragged into the main hall as an intruder. Before he could be fed the “garden”, Alicia asserted her leadership power and forbade it. Do the walkers remember anything about their former self? Will asked. No, Alicia replied. What especially impressed Will when the walker was attached to a tree was, of course, Senator Vasquez.
Gradually, Will fills Alicia on Padre, a safe place with the resources to restart civilization. Trouble is, Vasquez is the only one who knows its top secret location. Anyway, if Will finds Alicia a way out, he won’t go with her, he said. Too scared. So she gave him the St. Christopher was transferred from Daniel to the Strand for her. So then he got scared but… With a medal. Before long, Alicia had gutted Vasquez so that she and Will could cover herself in his body, and they began to follow him out of the tunnels that rats used to enter. They hope that the worm will lead to the exit, then the Zombie Vasquez will lead to Padre. Unfortunately – lucky, because they didn’t blow up? – before they found out, Teddy’s warhead exploded, and they were separated by the wreckage. Worse still, Alicia got stuck with Zombie Vasquez, who figured it out thanks to her screaming for Will that she was edible and took a bite out of her arm. Urging her to live, Will goes to the end to say he loves her. Too fast, man. Did you know what her? One hour?
Using her iconic weapon, Alicia cut her own arm in hopes of stopping the spread of the infection. When she woke up a week later, she was in the room that the cultivators had reserved for her. Are her friends okay? she immediately asked. They tried to stop Teddy, Will said he heard, but Strand got in the way. Oh! Will reported that Alicia had had a terrible fever, but it had flared up, so he was sure she didn’t have an infection. Alicia is considerably less certain. Furthermore, she is very angry that he didn’t kill her. In the tunnel, he had promised that if she had a fever, he would make sure she wouldn’t hurt anyone. “I give you a job to do!” she doesn’t say but maybe yes. Even though she couldn’t save anyone above, she could still save everyone below. Will said: “I can help. “No, you can’t,” she replied. So the next time she awoke, Will was gone. “Don’t worry about me,” read his goodbye. “I’ll learn it up there. Maybe one day, I will see the world you built.” Hmm… shouldn’t rather the deportation story he told Victor during the Season 7 premiere.
‘YOU TRYED TO KILL HIM IN YOUR HOUSE!’ | In the present, we have continued where we left off in last week’s episode (close here), with Alicia, Morgan, Dwight, Sherry & Co. powered by nuclear gas. Morgan, as always, tries to play 20 questions with Alicia, and she shoots him down instantly. “It is a long story,” she said, “and now is not the time to tell it.” Final! The next morning, Morgan explains to Alicia that her camp is essentially dead to her and her people; way too radioactive. That’s the case, she really need his help. With? A walker in a suit that Dwight and Sherry found for her. Who’s that? “She wouldn’t tell us,” Dwight explained to Morgan. But Arno doesn’t want her to find that particular hiker, who – you’ve probably guessed – is Vasquez. Alicia wants Morgan to help her track Zombie Vasquez all the way to Padre. She was sure he still remembered it somewhere in his visual brain. So the two went, playing Follow That Zombie until the Strand found them and opened fire with his men. Upon realizing that Alicia was with Morgan, Victor apologized; he didn’t know. Instead of stopping and catching up, Alicia pushed Zombie Vasquez off a cliff into a lake and jumped in after him. Morgan said: “You were right, Victor. “She really doesn’t want to see you.” With that, in him also jumped.
Later, while Morgan and Alicia have withered, she asserts that there are still echoes of who Vasquez is. already in Zombie Vasquez. “They’re not completely gone.” Mm-hmm. “I thought so,” replied Morgan, “and then my son died from it!” (Congratulations to Duane.) When Strand and his goons catch up with them again, he says he thinks he can rule alone, but he realizes he can’t. “You’re the only one left that I can trust, Alicia.” Since Alicia would rather chase Padre than return to the tower with the Strand, he ordered Zombie Vasquez and Morgan to be killed. In the ensuing melee, Alicia was bitten by a passerby, Strand so terrified that when she told him to vamoose, he did. That night, Alicia revealed to Morgan that the walker had no meat left – because her arm had nothing left, it was just bone. So she and Morgan went, following Zombie Vasquez a few more. Finally, they saw a light in the distance. “We found it,” Alicia exclaimed.
Unfortunately, Morgan had to tell her that all they found was the Strand’s tower. Crushed, she refused to return to the side with Morgan. “I didn’t have my arm amputated in time,” she explained. “The infection is still inside me. My body is trying to fight it, and it’s only a matter of time before I lose.” Just then, Strand appeared from his tall building. “That pedestrian,” he said, gleefully, “led you where you were supposed to be.” She and all her men are welcome at the tower. That was fine and all, but she wanted him to say that he would take care of them even when she wasn’t there. “Promise,” she said, like—what were the chances—she glanced at Zombie Will, the St. Christopher still wore it around his neck. After finishing him off, she turned to the Strand. “Why did you kill him?” She requested. “Because I know it will hurt you,” he replied. And if she gets hurt, she will stay away and let him build the tower the way it should be built.
Mm-hmm, and how is Strand know that it will hurt her? Because Will told him he loved Alicia. Enraged, Alicia made a decision in the heat of the moment. “I’m looking at the one thing that’s most important to you,” she said. “I’m taking that tower!” Strand doesn’t particularly want to fight her but will fight if he has to. “Then,” she concluded, “we will go to war!” A very short fight, mind you, if she’s right and she’s real To be infected. What do you say, Dead-head? Do you think Alicia is really a Go player? On your way to the comments section, score the mid-season finale in the poll below.
