FDOH-Lee COVID testing sites move to appointment-only



On Wednesday, the Florida Department of Health in Lee County announced that its COVID-19 testing sites are currently open by appointment only.

FDOH-Lee, Lee County and Nomi Health decided to update the procedures at two county COVID-19 testing sites. In response to soaring demand for COVID-19 tests, both Lee County testing sites will now only accept appointments and be unoccupied.

Starting Thursday, December 30, the COVID-19 testing site located at the CenturyLink Sports complex will operate by appointment only. Business hours for this test site are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday. On New Year’s Day, the place will be open from 9am to 5pm

On Monday, January 3, 2022, the test site located at FDOH-Lee along Michigan Ave will begin operating by appointment only. The site’s check-in hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, but the site will be closed on December 30 and 31, and January 1.

To make an appointment at either of the two COVID-19 testing sites, you can go to Nomi Health’s website.
