Lexington Police Department officers responded to reports of disorderly conduct with a gun around 4 p.m. local time.
Upon arrival, police found the 65-year-old woman, a 42-year-old woman and a 38-year-old woman. All three were pronounced dead at the scene.
“As far as I know, the person who was taken into custody lives in this house and took the life of his wife and two daughters,” Ginn told a local NBC affiliate.
“He’s the husband of one of the white women.”

“Any time you find three women in a house and they’ve all been injured and gunshot wounds by a family member, that’s pretty disturbing.”
The victims have not yet been named. The names will be released by the Fayette County Coroner’s Office.
Police say one person has been arrested in connection with the murder.
News of the triple murder comes a day after Lexington police investigated another murder.
A 29-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene on May 24 at the 400 block of Locust Avenue.
Residents in the area are encouraged to review any home security camera footage they may have to assist the Lexington Police Department in their investigation.
