The boy’s mother, Breanna Micciolo, is said to have shared custody of the boy with Gregor.

She reported the boy’s injuries to a New Jersey Department of Child Protection and Normality officer in charge.

At the urging of the officer in charge, Micciolo took the boy to the doctor on April 1.

There, the boy revealed that Gregor had told him to run on the treadmill “because he’s too fat.”

Micciolo died the next day.

Gregor went to authorities on Friday, July 9, 2021, to turn himself in. But he allegedly denied abusing the boy.
