In his latest NFL Top 5 placementthe 3-0 Philadelphia Eagles are in first place, while the also undefeated Miami Dolphins sit in fourth place.

They are shared by the 2-1 Buffalo Bills in second and the 2-1 Green Bay Packers in third.

The 2-1 Baltimore Ravens round out the top five.

That dropped both the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from Smith’s top five a week ago when they finished second and fourth respectively.

Two former players-turned-analysts had something to say about Smith’s ranking.

Former quarterback Robert Griffin III, who won the Heisman Trophy commented: “Let me fix this for you 1. DOLPHINS 2. Eagles 3. Bills 4. Ravens 5. Chiefs”

Meanwhile, his former quarterback Dan Orlovsky said: “Stephen A’s top 5 teams to win last weekend [laughing emojis]”

Many fans were equally puzzled, with one commenting: “If the list is ‘floating’ and the dolphins are hitting the bills, how are dolphins not ahead of them?”

Another said: “Dolphins and Ravens should be above Bills and Packers at this point. Might change later but they are the better teams right now if you rank by current progress rather than potential progress.”

Looking ahead, both the Eagles and Dolphins have a tough road ahead as they attempt to remain undefeated in Week 4.

The Eagles host the 2-1 Jacksonville Jaguars, who clinched a 38-10 win over the LA Chargers on Sunday.

The Dolphins travel to the Cincinnati Bengals for Thursday Night Football.

That super bowl The LVI runner-up picked up his first win of the season last week, beating the New York Jets 27-12.
