EAGLE-EYED England fans were stunned by Harry Kane’s shirt in yesterday’s thrilling 3-3 draw with Germany.
Skipper Kane scored a penalty to make it 3-2 for the Three Lions, just a few minutes later Chelsea ace Kai Havertz equalized.
But it was Kane’s tackle rather than his emphatic penalty that caught the fans’ attention.
The England captain wore his trademark No 9 on the back of his shirt as well as on his shorts.
However, the front of his away shirt, which was mysteriously worn at home, appeared to have an inverted No. 6 printed on it.
His front number looked suspiciously like an upside down version of Harry Maguire’s number.
And fans were quick to join in as they watched the drama unfold in England’s last game before the World Cup.
One wrote: “Harry Pain.”
While another joked: “[It’s] because he’s a false nine.”
Maguire wore two regular No. 6s on the front of his shirt and shorts, suggesting Kane’s upside-down No. 6 may have been a misprint.

Kane’s bizarre jersey wasn’t the only jersey drama last night.
Gareth Southgate’s side sported funky fonts on the back of their shirts, with their names all in capital letters except for the letter ‘i’.
And it didn’t go over well with fans online.
One wrote: “I’m quite angry about the font on the England shirts.”
Another said: “I’ve just been made aware that the font on the back of England shirts uses all capital letters except for a small ‘i’ and now I CAN’T SEE ANYTHING ELSE.”
While a third quipped: “Petition to get rid of this horrible font on the England shirt and replace it with Comic Sans.”
While Kane’s gear might have been a mistake, the flashy fonts were actually designed that way on purpose.
A statement in English at the release of the new kits read: “Just like the home shirt, the font used for the name and number is inspired by angular, industrial typefaces used by English heavy metal rock bands.”
