Fans joke about what Josh Kroenke told the Arsenal stars after visiting them in the dressing room after Man City’s defeat

ARSENAL owner Stan Kroenke’s son Josh headed to the dressing room after Wednesday’s 3-1 home loss to Premier League title rivals Manchester City.

The Gunners went into the title fight three points clear of their rivals while still holding a game in hand.

Kevin de Bruyne opened the scoring for Man City but the holders were pushed back just before half-time when Bukayo Saka converted from 12 yards.

However, City regained their composure in the second 45 as Jack Grealish and Erling Haaland extended the goal line.

After the game, Arsenal owner Kroenke’s son Josh visited the undoubtedly disappointed dressing room.

And the American’s presence after the game has fans saying the same thing: he apologizes for the lack of January signings.

Arsenal brought in players worth £53.3million in the winter window.

The Gunners signed Jorginho from London rivals Chelsea and Leandro Trossard from Brighton.

Arsenal also explored the Italian market, returning with highly-rated Poland international Jakub Kiwior from Spezia.

One fan said: “We don’t need him there!

“We needed him to spend money in January!!!”

Another tweeted: “Hopefully we apologize for not spending.”

A third added: “The big chant of the transfer window would have made all the difference.”

While others have questioned if he can play as a forward, fans are unhappy with Eddie Nketiah’s contribution, despite the Hale End Academy product having four league goals in his last eight.

Losing to Man City saw Mikel Arteta’s men drop to second place on goal difference alone.

The Gunners have one game left in their hands – but there’s no guarantee they’ll win it.

A possible Prem title decision will take place on April 26 at City’s Etihad home.
