FANS were unimpressed by Jorginho following his Arsenal debut.

The Italian had the worst possible start as Everton took the lead just a minute after entering the field.

Jorginho made his debut for the club, coming on for Thomas Partey in the 59th minute.

But James Tarkowski headed the home side in the lead with the game-winning goal in the 60th minute.

And fans are now brutally announcing his Arsenal career, with one tweeting: “Lmao Jorginho arrives and a minute later they admit he brought the Chelsea curse😭.”

A second wrote: “10m for Jorginho and he’s sabotaging their title race.”

A third commented: “Jorginho is being held responsible for today’s loss.”

A fourth said: “Jorginho is in there for about 8 seconds and Arsenal relent immediately…”

While some fans were curious as to why the former Chelsea player replaced Partey.

Many thought he should have replaced Granit Xahka instead.

One said: “If Arteta replaces Xhaka instead of Partey, we won’t concede that corner and therefore the goal.”

A second added: “Arteta got the wrong sub to take out Partey. Xhaka had to go, not Partey.”

Jorginho joined the club in a £12million move from Chelsea on deadline day in a bid to add depth to the club’s midfield options.

Arsenal’s defeat now means their lead at the top of the table could be cut to just two points should Manchester City beat Tottenham tomorrow.
