Fans are all saying the same thing as Darwin Nunez suffers Liverpool’s home debut from HELL after missed chances and headbutt

SOCCER fans have slammed Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez after he was sent off in a nightmare Premier League home debut against Crystal Palace.

The Reds’ newest attacker, 23, was sent off in the second half for a ridiculous headbutt to Eagles centre-back Joachim Andersen.

And social media exploded over the Uruguayan’s performance.

His dismissal ended a miserable performance that saw him hit the post with a glorious chance in the first half.

He also missed another good opportunity to score for the Reds.

One person said: “Darwin Nunez was the worst home debut ever πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. Red card and moved on to Timberlands πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.”

Another added: “Nunez is an absolute scammer. The guy misses it and falls over every time he has it.

“The worst footballer I’ve seen in a long time.”

A third simply said: “Nunez worst signing in Prem history πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.”

While a fourth added: “This was one of the worst individual performances ever in Premier League history by Darwin Nunez. Smelly.”

Nunez scored in his Prem debut in a 2-2 draw with Fulham in the opening weekend.

But his sacking in front of Anfield faithful was the worst way to ingratiate himself with Liverpool supporters.

It came after Wilfried Zaha put the visitors ahead with a deadly counterattack in the first half.

Luis Diaz equalized with an incredible solo for the hosts just four minutes after Nunez was sent off.

But Liverpool have been unable to find a winner as Jurgen Klopp’s wait for a first win of the season rolls into the third game weekend.
