MANCHESTER UNITED fans appear convinced Cristiano Ronaldo will STAY after breaking his silence amid intense transfer talks.

The 37-year-old rocked the Red Devils two weeks ago by asking to leave the club due to frustration at the lack of signings and his desire to play Champions League football.

And after seeing the photo of the Nike-sponsored forward wearing the United brand’s Adidas kit, all Red Devils supporters said the same thing.

One tweeted: “Ronaldo in united shorts. He stays.”

Another commented: “He wears United shorts! Indication?!”

While another supporter said: “United Shorts. Ronaldo stays. SIIIUUUUU.”

He posted online – with the caption ‘HARD WORK’ – just as boss Erik ten Hag was doubling down on his plans to keep Ron.

The defiant Ten Hag insisted “nothing has changed” when quizzed about the Portugal striker when United landed in Melbourne.

After claiming on Tuesday that Ron was in his plans for the new season, the Dutchman said three days later: “We’ve made a statement and nothing has changed.”
