He was granted extra time off from pre-season due to a family issue and is missing from the club’s current tour of the Far East and Australia.

Ronaldo has been linked with a move to Premier League rivals Chelsea, while an unnamed Saudi club is said to have offered United £25m and Ron £2m-a-week.

Bayern Munich and PSG also claim they will not be chasing international football’s record goalscorer, who has scored 117 goals in 189 games for Portugal.

As speculation rages on about his future, the star still appears to be keeping himself in incredible physical condition, having previously broken his silence by posting a picture of himself training while playing just a pair United -Worning training shorts from last season.
