Fallout 4 Mod Non-Binary Add Last Name / Pronoun Surname

The mod adds surname/surname pronouns, allowing you to customize the pre-written Sole Survivor a bit more.

From an LGBTQ+ perspective, Fallout 4 is a bit of a mixed bag. While it does bring romances to the series, it doesn’t restrict any of them by gender, it’s really impossible to play a gay or asexual character. If you are a woman, you are married, and vice versa.

But thanks this mod from Nexus user LeahTheUnknown, you can finally add some diversity to the Commonwealth. Most gender pronouns in Fallout 4 can now be changed to last name/last name, making it possible to play as a Single Survivor outside of the gender binary.

Currently, the mod only affects in-game text, not dialogue. But it means the correct pronouns will show up in the subtitles. In a time where gaming is Slowly catch up on the world and recognize the last name/last name pronoun in the game, which is a nice way to modernize Fallout 4’s rather longstanding LGBTQ+ representation, following the content boom we had in the 2010s .

Thankfully, Bethesda should address this mistake with its next big release. Starfield will let players choose from him/her, her/her and last name/last name for their character. A lot of dialogue has been recorded in response to this, adding more immersive possibilities in this much-anticipated action RPG. Considering the announcement specifically mentions pronoun selection – not gender as you do in other Bethesda games – maybe gender is much more flexible this time around. Passing the fingers, you will be able to choose any pronoun you want, regardless of your character’s appearance.

Starfield is coming to us in just under a year’s time, slated to launch on November 11, 2022. It’s exclusive to PC and Xbox Series X/S, with no word on the release. operating Xbox One or PlayStation. You will, however, be able to stream it to your Xbox One, giving last-gen players a way to experience the game, albeit with some compromised quality.
