FABINHO’s wife Rebeca Tavares was unimpressed with Alexis Sanchez lunging at her husband when Liverpool faced Inter Milan earlier tonight.
The former Arsenal striker has been given marching orders after receiving a second yellow card for a tackle on the Brazilian.
Inter had just scored to halve the deficit and bring the total to 2-1 thanks to Lautaro Martinez’s excellent 61st-minute strike, before disaster struck.
Sanchez, 33, won a loose ball, before his tackle sent Fabinho to the ankle.
The 28-year-old could continue playing and complete 90 minutes, but Rebeca still has to worry about Sanchez.
When the Chilean was sent off, she wrote on Twitter: “Goodbye Alexis 😡”
Ten of Inter beat Liverpool 1-0 tonight, but the Reds took a 2-1 lead thanks to an away goal.
Rebeca will not be pleased with former manager Arsene Wenger’s Sanchez receiving a red card.
