The Australian rider seemingly addressed all speculation in the Monaco GP when he wrote the initials ‘FEA’ on the back of his helmet.

Eagle-eyed fans took notice, claiming on social media that the cryptic message stood for “F**k’Em All.”

Ricciardo addressed the fans’ hypothesis in a recent interview, claiming that the acronym has a motivating nature.

But the former Red Bull driver claims the message wasn’t aimed at anyone specifically.

Ricciardo told Fox Sports: “I put it on [Red Bull] Helmet also in 2018.

“I like to use acronyms to cheer me up.

“It’s honestly not addressed to anyone — it’s something I’ve been saying for a couple of years and it kind of puts me in my happy place.

“I also think that as a driver you put your helmet on and that’s also very important when you flip the switch.

“It’s one of the last things I see when I put the helmet on.

“So it reminds me to channel myself in and get in the zone.”
