Executives support executives – Karina from aespa seems to be checking out Irene from Red Velvet at the SM concert

On September 23rd SMTOWN LIVE 2023 SMCU PALACE JAKARTA, an event by SM entertainment, took place at the GBK Stadium in Jakarta, Indonesia. The event’s lineup of artists included TVXQ, Super Junior, Red velvet, NCT 127, NCT dream, WayV, aespaAnd RIZE.

This had already been announced earlier in the day Irene would be staying away from Red Velvet’s performance for health reasons, so it was a surprise that she was on stage and performed with the rest of her group despite being visibly unwell.

It was clear that she was determined to showcase all five members of Red Velvet to fans, and ReVeluvs was touched by her strength and willpower in getting through what was obviously a difficult performance for her.

Her fellow performers showed her support and gave her a shoulder to lean on – sometimes literally – during her time on stage. But it wasn’t just the members of Red Velvet who were looking for Irene, but also other fellow artists from SM Entertainment.

Especially the leader of AESPA Karina At some point during the concert, she turned to Irene, took Irene’s hand and appeared to ask if she was okay. Irene nods in response to everything she said, to which Karina gives her a sympathetic and supportive look.

Although the moment was brief, fans were touched by the support shown by the girl group’s leaders.

Karina is known for her kind heart and helpful friend, so the gesture came as no surprise to her fans!

We hope that Irene can find some well-deserved rest after this event!
