On Sunday, however, he swapped the square for the boxing ring.

The 46-year-old Fish met Ghanaian Boateng Prempeh, who went into the duel with a record of two wins and three losses.

The fight was part of the Global Titans Fight series in Dubai.

And it was on the undercard for Floyd Mayweather’s win over Deji.

With a career spanning over 20 years, Fish had experience in kickboxing.

But midway through the first round, he turned to his wrestling skills as he picked up his opponent as if to bodyslam them.

He would beat his rival via TKO in the second round to seal a successful start to his boxing career.

Fish had previously revealed that he has a two-fight contract and that his next move is either kickboxing or making his MMA debut.

The grappler enjoyed a good run in WWE’s NXT as part of the Undisputed Era starring Roderick Strong, Kyle O’Reilly and Adam Cole.

He left the company in 2021 and quickly signed with AEW.

That contract expired in August, and he made his debut at the Victory Road Show for Impact Wrestling in September.
