Ex-Liverpool favorite Sadio Mane has snubbed Mohamed Salah over a bizarre choice as he named the best finisher he’s played with.
The 30-year-old Senegalese striker joined Bayern Munich last summer after a glorious six-year tenure at Anfield.
He was part of a deadly line of strikers that also included Roberto Firmino and Salah as the trio fired the Reds to glory in the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup during that period.
Salah in particular has made headlines with 174 goals for the club.
And not many would have argued if the Egyptian was the man chosen by his former partner.
However, after being polled by 1teamsports on TikTok, it took him a while to come up with an answer that surprised everyone.
The player Mane chose was Divock Origi, a forward who also left Merseyside before this season started after eight years there.
Despite being a Kop hero thanks to a string of important goals, the 27-year-old Belgium international has struggled for regular appearances for Liverpool.
And despite having an excellent goals record against neighbors Everton and scoring a memorable goal against Barcelona in the Champions League, the powerhouse has only managed 41 goals in 175 games.
However, even boss Jurgen Klopp backed Mane’s claim last year when discussing the ace.

The German said: “Er [Origi] is a legend on and off the pitch. Fantastic footballer, a world class striker and our best finisher.
“Everyone would say the same thing. You can see that in training.
“It’s a really tough decision to leave him out. Everyone loves Divock here.”
Origi had a difficult start to life in Italy following his free transfer to AC Milan.
He has scored just two goals in 21 games and was recently named Serie A’s worst signing of the season.
