Livramento was comforted by his team-mates and Brighton players.
His leg was splinted and he was placed on a stretcher at the Amex.
The injury is a heavy blow for Ralph Hasenhüttl’s team.
Livramento has been a key part of the Saints’ defense this 31-game season.
The former Blues man managed to score his first professional goal against Burnley last October.
He also has two templates to his name.
Two goals flew in just before half-time after Livramento’s Freak injury.
An own goal from Mohammed Salisu gave Brighton a healthy two-goal lead.

But a James Ward-Prowse free-kick gave the Saints a lifeline in added time.
Ward-Prowse struck again after the restart to level Southampton.
Ward-Prowse’s goals take his goals tally to ten this season and put him in a good position to form Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The 27-year-old has played twice for his country this season.
