Ex-Arsenal star Jack Wilshere ‘has Roy Hodgson to thank’ for shock £5k-a-week transfer to Danish club AGF

JACK WILSHERE’s shocking move for Aarhus comes after a proposal by Roy Hodgson, the report claims.
Before Arsenal starlet finally ended his 9-month absence from yesterday’s match by signed with the Danish club.
Wilshere30 years old, earning £5,000 a week until the end of the season and not his new team highest earning playerSunSport revealed.

Aarhus’ assistant manager is Brit Dave Reddington, who worked as first-team coach under Hodgson at Crystal Palace for three years before he left in July.
The Athletic reported that Hodgson had put a good word for Wilshere coming to Reddington, having managed midfield with England from 2012 to 2016.
Reddington then contacted Wilshere two weeks ago, arranging the wheels for yesterday’s transfer.
Hodgson, 74, has selected the former Arsenal No 10 for his 2014 World Cup squad.

He then also picked Wilshere for Euro 2016, despite the injured star making just three appearances that season for the Gunners.
The trump card 34 moves in West Ham on a free transfer in 2018 following Unai Emery’s arrival in North London.
After failing to make an impact, he signed for second division side Bournemouth in January 2021.
He has trained with Arsenal for most of this season because he wants to stay healthy and earn the contract.
Wilshere will now wear the number 10 shirt at Aarhus because he wants to impress.
