‘Euphoria’ Renewed for Season 3 at HBO

Prepare to celebrate like Cassie in a hot tub: Happiness TVLine will return with Season 3.
Written, written, directed, and executive produced by Sam Levinson (and based on the Israeli series of the same name), Happiness follows 17-year-old Rue (played by Zendaya) as she tries to find hope while facing the devastating pressures of grief and addiction.
Season 2 also stars Hunter Schafer, Nika King, Eric Dane, Angus Cloud, Jacob Elordi, Algee Smith, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Barbie Ferreira, Maude Apatow, Javon Walton, Dominic Fike, Storm Reid and Austin Abrams. The season finale will air on Sunday, February 27.
No airing for about two and a half years (save for a stand-alone special in the middle of a pandemic), HappinessThe proper premiere of Season 2 debuted as the most-watched episode of an HBO series ever on HBO Max and has so far garnered over 14 million viewers across platforms. – more than double Season 1’s average audience.
“Sam, Zendaya, and the entire cast and crew of Happiness took Season 2 to extraordinary heights, defying convention and narrative form, while maintaining its heart,” HBO programmer EVP Francesca Orsi said in a statement. “We couldn’t be more honored to work with this incredibly talented, talented team or more delighted to continue their journey with them in Season 3.”
