Eunice Dwumfour’s eerie final conversation with a friend hours before the New Jersey councilwoman was killed from home has been revealed

A GUESS WOMAN’s last conversation with a friend has been revealed after her shocking murder.

Eunice Dwumfour was shot dead outside her home in Sayreville, New Jersey, on Wednesday in what police described as a “targeted” attack.

Those who knew the 30-year-old Republican took to social media to share their memories of Dwumfour, who was elected in 2021.

“She was an amazing friend, a woman who loved God. We were just at our HRC (Human Relations Commissioner) meeting on Jan. 5, 2023 and I just saw her in the store this morning,” said the joint Facebook account of Detective Juan Rodriguez and Pastor Doctor Nelia Rodriguez.

They added: “I remember saying to her I’ll see you at the HRC meeting tomorrow, not knowing that tonight would be the end of her life.

“I can’t stop crying. She was 30 years young and full of life.”

Someone claiming to be a neighbor of the Sayreville City Councilwoman also expressed their grief online following her death.

“I am shocked, scared and heartbroken,” the post reads.

“She was a woman full of life. If she missed the HRC meeting, she would always ask me to put her on speakerphone so she could attend. I was looking forward to meeting her at our monthly meeting tomorrow. We will miss you.”

Dwumfour was a Scrum Master and also volunteered for a Nigerian church, according to her LinkedIn profile.

Police say she was shot multiple times in her SUV, which crashed after the shooting.

Local media, including RLS Media, have reported that the gunman was seen speeding away from the scene.

The police did not give a possible motive for the shooting.

Dwumfour was elected Republican to the Sayreville Council in November 2021.

Her victory in the election was taken as a surprise.

She should face re-election in 2024.
