IT is crazy that the EU can allegedly impose new sanctions on Putin and at the same time finance his genocide.

We know that previous leaders have hooked their economies Russian energy.

But those fresh curbs won’t cripple the madman as the gas revenues keep pouring in.

EU countries have bought €35 billion of it since the war began, while providing just €1 billion in deadly aid Ukraine.

Their new sanctions, like ours, are only biting tiny chunks of the Kremlin’s revenue.

Not yet, we are not.

Germany and others are so afraid of life without Russian gas that they cannot accept a total ban.
