Haaland, 22, sealed the win in the second half with an intelligent finish from a sharp breakaway.

But it was the penalty, which he won and converted before half-time, that really sparked the conversation.

He then placed the ball on the spot, sprinted his run-up and shot into the bottom corner, all in a jiffy.

He then got more people talking about him after the game when he cursed not once but TWICE while being interviewed by Sky Sports.

It was definitely love at first sight for most City fans after seeing the Norwegian in action in the top flight for the first time.

And no doubt many will flock to the club shop to get his name on the back of their jerseys.
