ERLING HAALAND has posted a hilarious picture of himself sleeping next to the Champions League match ball – and fans are all saying the same thing.

The impressive Norwegian striker managed to outdo himself on Tuesday night as he put down five against RB Leipzig.

His goals contributed to Manchester City’s incredible 7-0 win in the second leg of the Champions League and ended the game with a stunning 8-1 aggregate score.

And Haaland posted a snap reflecting his European exploits with an Instagram image that fans absolutely loved.

The 22-year-old is seen seemingly asleep on his sofa after his busy night at the Etihad.

He is wrapped in a large green blanket to cover his huge body with his eyes tightly closed.

But the star has his right hand wrapped around Tuesday night’s Champions League ball, which anyone who scores three or more goals is allowed to take home.

Haaland captioned the pic “afternoon nap” with a yawning emoji.

Fans had very similar take on the photo reflecting on the striker’s superhuman abilities.

One said “software update” and added a robot emoji.

Others pointed to the image’s similarity to Lionel Messi’s famous post-World Cup snap taken the morning after Argentina’s victory in the incredible final against France in December.

With only Burnley left to play in the FA Cup ahead of the international break, Haaland will be licking his lips at the prospect of increasing his ridiculous numbers.
