Erik ten Hag prepares to attack Solskjaer’s legacy at Man Utd as he ‘builds an eight-man transfer exit list’

ERIK TEN HAG could sack EIGHT Manchester United players to sign big names like Harry Kane and Mason Mount.
The Old Trafford boss is reportedly ready to break the legacy of ex-boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer – despite finishing a respectable third in the Premier League and winning the EFL Cup in his debut season.
Central defender Harry Maguire, as well as midfielders Fred and Scott McTominay and frontman Anthony Martial could be absent this summer.
But the first symbol of a secession from Solskjaer’s regime could be Dean Henderson turning his loan at Nottingham Forest into a permanent contract.
Solskjaer had spoken about the former Englishman who would eventually succeed David de Gea as United’s No. 1.
But the Norwegian was sacked in November 2021 and although his successor Ralf Rangnick was also hoping Henderson could be promoted, Ten Hag was barely there when the goalkeeper was sent to Forest.
Underdog left-backs Alex Telles and Brandon Williams are also expected to depart this summer.
Central defender Eric Bailly can bring the total number of departures to eight.
This, coupled with Maguire’s departure, possibly to Spurs or West Ham, would free up space for Napoli’s Kim Min-jae to move into the back line.
However, Ten Hag are understood to be equally interested in two new midfielders and remain on the hunt for a world-class frontman.

Kane tops the strike list, ahead of Kim’s club-mate Victor Osimhen, Eintracht Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani, speedy Atalanta star Rasmus Hojlund and Benfica’s Goncalo Ramos.
But talks with Kim and Chelsea playmaker Mount appear to be the most advanced so far.
