Champions Australia hosts the big tournament in seven cities.

And England captain Jos Buttler says his side are “going all out” ahead of their T20 opener.

Buttler said: “We’ve had some really good games in the last 10 games and played really good cricket.

“We are in a good place. Everyone is dying to get started now.

“On the eve of the tournament we are very ready.”

When does England play Afghanistan?

England vs Afghanistan takes place on Saturday 22nd October.

The T20 World Cup match starts at 12pm UK time – that’s 7pm in Perth.

Perth Stadium is playing host.
