England is hotter than GREECE with 13 degrees of TOMORROW spring sunshine before heavy rain and strong winds hit

What day should you turn off the heating for spring?

The WARMER temperature is at FINAL, so it might be time to stop your radiator and turn off the thermostat.

Sunday, March 27 is the official day you should turn off the heating according to experts.

PlumbNation decided that because the average temperature for this time of year is slightly higher, plus more hours of daylight.

That’s also the time when the clock turns forward and you have to set your clock one hour ahead.

“Only turning on the heating when you need it, is the best way to save energy,” says Jordan Chance, a heating expert from PlumbNation.

“As spring approaches and as the weather slowly starts to warm, more and more people keep their heaters on for shorter periods of time.

“While there’s no single temperature at which you should turn off the heating, many people aim for a forward clock time, which falls on March 27 this year.”
