England fans seethed at Kylian Mbappe’s reaction to Harry Kane’s penalty in the World Cup heartthrob against France

ENGLAND fans furious at Kylian Mbappe after he laughed in reaction to Harry Kane’s penalty.

Kane shot over the goal from 12 yards and it proved costly as France beat England 2-1 to secure a place in the World Cup semi-finals where they meet Morocco.

Early in the half, England captain Hugo Lloris smashed in a penalty to equalize.

But he failed to repeat the trick after Mason Mount was bundled in the box.

A delighted Mbappe burst out laughing as he watched the ball sail over the bar.

Angered by his behavior, England fans took to social media to slam the French superstar.

One supporter wrote: “Mbappe’s laugh shows what an idiot he is.”

Another added: “I don’t actually like Mbappe, he’s so annoying.”

And a third said: “I used to love Mbappe but his childish reaction to Kane’s miss was nasty.”

Another remarked: “Probs are laughing because everyone was hyping him up and he ghosted the whole game but he’s going to come through anyway.”

Olivier Giroud also celebrated passionately and almost went straight in the face to Kane before a teammate intervened.

The England captain was quickly comforted by Jude Bellingham but the Three Lions couldn’t find a way back into the game.
