Emotional tribute to a woman who was “murdered” in an alleyway when cops held an 18-year-old man

TRIBUTE has flooded in to a “beautiful” mother found “murdered” in an alleyway.
Danielle Norton, also known as Danielle Pinder, was discovered in Scunthorpe at around 8.30am last Saturday with a life-threatening head injury.

She was hospitalized in the North Lincolnshire town but tragically died of her injuries on Wednesday.
An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.
A woman who was also arrested in connection with the incident was released as part of the investigation.
Humberside Police have opened a murder investigation following the horror that took place in the alleyway between Berkeley Street and West Sheffield Street.
Friends and locals in Scunthorpe rushed to pay their respects after the tragic death.
An online tribute said: “Such a beautiful person, she was actually an angel and now she’s been brought home.”
Sharing a picture of Danielle on Facebook, Chelsea Dixon wrote: “My childhood friend going to town!
“My thoughts also go to your whole family and your daughters! You were one of a kind with memories I will cherish forever RIP Danielle Pinder fly high.”
While Stacey Britteon said: “I can’t believe it actually it’s so freaking sad xx”
Sarah Louise added: “Absolutely devastated. Sleep tight xxx remember you from Messingham Rd when we were kids and the naughty school in Millbrook.”
And Sarah Whittaker paid tribute to the mum with a photo, adding: “Rip Danielle GBNF my heart goes out to the whole Pinder family thinking of you all xx.”
Floral tributes adorn the scene, while a large “RIP Danielle” and two hearts were spray-painted on a wall near where the mother-of-two was found.
Detective Chief Inspector Nicole Elliott of Humberside Police, who is leading the investigation, said officers were investigating a number of inquiries to determine how Danielle died.
She added, “We understand that a tragic incident of this nature will shock the local community.”


Police are now asking anyone with information, dashcam or CCTV footage of the area at the time of the incident to come forward.
