Barbara Bosson, who received Emmy nominations for five years in a row for her role as Fay Furillo, died Saturday, her family said. She was 83.
Her cause of death is currently unclear.
Bosson starred in the NBC drama, which was co-created by her husband Steven Bochco.
She also worked on three ABC drama series during her career: Hooperman from 1987 to 1989, Cop Rock from 1990 and Murder One from 1995 to 1997.
