Emma Raducanu shows thumbs up with bandaged wrist and beams in glamorous dress after THREE surgeries ended Wimbledon dream
EMMA RADUCANU beamed as she donned a glamorous dress and flaunted her bandaged wrist.
The tennis star recently underwent three surgeries on both hands and ankle.
Raducanu, 20, has been suffering from pain for ten months due to repeated injuries to the bones of both hands.
And despite being unable to attend the French Open and Wimbledon due to the surgeries, the young player appeared upbeat as she attended a private party at the George Club in Mayfair, London.
She shone in a black dress which she complemented with a necklace and clutch bag.
Beaming from ear to ear, Raducanu gave a thumbs-up showing her bandaged left wrist.
The world number 106 is expected to be out of action for the next few months and possibly the US Open as well.
Raducanu updated fans on her condition, saying: “It’s safe to say the last ten months have been difficult as I’ve been dealing with a recurring injury to a bone in both hands.”
“I’ve been doing my best to manage the pain and play through it for most of this year and late last year by drastically reducing the training load, skipping weeks of training and stopping last season to heal it . Unfortunately I it is not enough.
“I have a small procedure done on both hands to fix the problems.
